DESCRIPTION

This session is for those of us who want to build, but don't know where to start! I mean...the absolute beginners! Do we use Blender? Creator Hub? How do I publish to my land? Where is my land? Help! There are a lot of great learning resources out there... As a Special Education teacher for a decade, I understand the importance of breaking down large tasks into smaller digestible chunks. We all have diverse learning styles (I personally am 110% a visual learner!). Sometimes we need a slow, in-depth environment where we can ask questions even if they've already been asked :) I first started building in Decentraland in April of 2019 for the Land Creator Contest. After that, I tried learning the SDK and Blender to advance my builds. I struggled to learn them, and didn't have anyone to ask for help. My hope with "Build it Forward" is to prevent anyone else from feeling discouraged with building in Decentraland! This class is intended for users with little to no 3D building experience. So come...bring your basic questions, ask them 10 times if you need to, and we'll build Decentraland together, one brick at a time! Sessions will be streamed on the Community Building Decentraland Discord, found here: https://discord.gg/cbdcl We will also meet in world at La Cantina, coords: -150, 95 Get a FREE OP badge each week for attending!
